CAPSTAN 4M DRUM ENGINE

The 4m drum is a basic design machine intended for the use of laying and recovering tele- communication cable of varying types and sizes.
The drum is powered from a remote H.P.U housed in a 20 ft ISO Container. The fleeting knives on the drum are designed to be powered in a manner that will allow wraps to be put on and taken off without the need for a free end to the cable. Control of the drum is via a remote desk which houses all of the drum function controls as well as some of the DOHB controls.
